Currently we are hosting virtual cooking classes for private groups and companies. Sharing food is the best way to connect and learn about each other!
How it works: We will work with you to decide on a date, time, and recipe (see menu below). Then all participants gather their ingredients beforehand, join us on zoom from their home, & we cook together virtually! All classes are 1.5 hours long. Classes are led by the Sprouting Kitchen owner, Fallon Bader, a chef and registered dietitian.
Pricing: Classes are a $500 minimum, which includes 10 households. For every additional household, it is an additional $40.
This time of year is all about sharing, connecting, and nostalgia. Our cooking classes will help your team connect into these feelings!
Throughout the cooking class you’ll be put into breakout groups where you’ll share a story related to the recipe.
Choose from our 3 holiday menu options below. Option to add on a wine pairing or cocktail.

Make the classic Chanukah dish, latkes, which are crispy pan-fried potato pancakes. We’ll provide some creative options you can add or swap in like using sweet potato, other root veggies, or adding green chile! Whether you’re a latke pro or never celebrated Chanukah before, making latke’s is a guaranteed fun time (and everyone likes latkes!). Fallon will share her personal memories of celebrating Chanukah and making laktes!

This is a New Mexican, fall-inspired spin on Mac n’ cheese. It’s got a bit of everything: squash for a nutty sweetness, green chile for a little spice, and a top layer of cheesy breadcrumbs. This is a great dish for utilizing the abundance of winter squash that is available right now. From butternut, to pumpkins, to kabocha squash – they all taste great in this recipe! This is a great dish to feed a crowd or have for leftovers!

We all could use a nourishment boost as the weather gets cold, and this meal is a perfect solution! We’ll start with learning how to perfectly cook farro, a nutty & chewy whole grain. Then we’ll braise some leafy greens in garlic and stock. You’ll learn how to make a pumpkin & pecan style dukkah, which is a Middle Eastern nut and spice blend that gives any dish a delicious crunch. We’ll top it all off with a red chile goat cheese dressing and perfectly cooked “jammy” or soft-boiled eggs.

The event was SO MUCH FUN! Everyone loved getting together, making dinner and a drink, all while being in the company of others but not just staring at a screen.
We host engaging cooking classes on local farms during the growing season (May-October) and virtual cooking classes in the colder months. We’re located in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where we love to hold classes on the many local farms and connect our participants to where their food comes from. During our virtual classes, we focus on teaching about seasonal ingredients. We also partner with local hospitals, universities, and organizations to sponsor our classes, which makes our services more accessible to all! When you support our business, you are supporting this mission.
