The Sprouting Kitchen is a New Mexico-based company offering hands-on cooking classes, team building cooking experiences, and virtual cooking classes designed to make healthy eating approachable, fun, and inspiring. The Sprouting Kitchen was founded in 2019 by Registered Dietician Fallon Bader and was created to combine a background in nutrition with real-world experience in cooking and gardening. The goal? To help people feel more confident preparing and enjoying nutritious food.
Our journey began with cooking classes on local farms across New Mexico, creating immersive experiences that connect people directly to fresh, seasonal ingredients. We believe that learning where your food comes from transforms how you cook and eat.
For many people, vegetables can feel boring or intimidating. Our mission is to change that. Through interactive, farm-based cooking classes, we show just how flavorful, exciting, and satisfying healthy food can be. Especially when it’s fresh and locally sourced.
Accessibility is at the core of The Sprouting Kitchen. Our early partnerships with Presbyterian Community Health and New Mexico State University’s ICAN program helped us bring healthy cooking classes to diverse communities across New Mexico. From the beginning it was important that we could make these classes accessible to all.
We believe everyone deserves the knowledge and confidence to prepare nutritious meals and enjoy healthy foods. Today, we continue to expand our reach through strong community partnerships.

During the global pandemic, we pivoted to offering virtual cooking classes, allowing participants to join from anywhere. What started as a solution quickly became a key part of our offerings.
Today, our online cooking classes provide flexible, accessible ways for individuals, teams, and groups to learn new skills from the comfort of home. This also allows us to offer classes in New Mexico and beyond!
Over the years, we’ve held hundred of demonstrations and classes on farms around New Mexico, local breweries, on-site for organizations, and even at the state-of-art Indian Pueblo Entrepreneurial Complex Kitchen.
Whether you’re planning a corporate team building event, bridal shower, bachelorette party, or group experience, The Sprouting Kitchen offers unique, hands-on cooking experiences that bring people together.
We consistently hear that our classes make cooking feel less overwhelming and more enjoyable. Participants often try (and love!) foods they never expected.
At its core, The Sprouting Kitchen is about connection.
Connection to food. Connection to community. Connection to each other.
We’ve shared meals with people from all walks of life, proving that food is one of the most powerful ways to bring people together.
