In this class we’ll discuss how healthy soil can translate into healthy plants & humans. We will talk about the foods you can eat to keep your the bacteria in your body (aka the microbiome) strong and healthy! Recent science is showing that having a healthy microbiome can prevent chronic disease, weight gain, and promote healthy immune systems.
Then we will break into groups and cook a meal focused on produce from Silverleaf farms.
After this class you’ll walk away with a basic understanding of how to have healthy gut bacteria and new cooking skills!
We’ll have local coffee & tea ready for when you arrive at the farm! Come enjoy a relaxing and educational morning on the beautiful farm.
