When is it seasonal? Cooler seasons (spring, fall)
Nutrition: It is a good source of Vitamin C, but you do have to eat a fair amount of dill to get a decent amount of Vitamin C. I like to think of dill as a flavor agent to make other nutritious foods taste even better!
Culinary Basics: Dill is what give cucumber pickles their famous taste! Use fresh or dried dill when pickling any veggies for that same taste! Dill is great when added to a salad mix, it adds a fresh, herby taste. Dill also pairs well with potatoes, lemon, and anything creamy – add lots of it into potato or egg salad!
